John Ramirez – Ex Satan Worshipper – Testimony

The false religion Santeria defined John Ramirez, but after years of evil Jesus offered him a new identity.

John Ramirez grew up in the Bronx, where his relatives practiced Santeria. “My father’s side came from a family of witches and warlocks,” says John. “My father was very heavy into Santeria, very heavy into Spiritualism.”

John’s mother was also influenced by Santeria. At his aunt’s suggestion, she took John to a tarot card reading. “The lady said in her cards I had thirty days to do a ceremony or I would be blind. So my mother, as a good mother, didn’t want anything to happen to her son, so we did it. They blindfolded me; they did a bath for me with herbs and they started chanting and calling their five main god/demons from Santeria.”
From that moment, John’s life changed. “My whole personality, everything who I stood for as a young boy was no longer there. I felt like someone took a black blanket and just put it right over me – spiritually. I was answering not only to my mom and my dad, but I was answering to the demons,” John recalls.

John longed for a relationship with his dad, but his father was abusive. “There was no love; there was no compassion. We watched him beat my mother in the house. He came in drunk most of the time–demanding stuff, asking for stuff. If things weren’t done a certain way it was always put down, hurtful words: ‘Dummy!  Stupid!  You’re going to amount to nothing.’ That kind of stuff,” John recalls. “I would just stand by the door and look and see what he was up to because I was looking to see if there was time for me just to have interaction. Hey, my dad and I did something. But he was connected to the demons; he was connected to Spiritualism.”

Faith Talks – by Kenneth Copeland

The Bible says, Jesus is the Author and the Finisher of our Faith. He is the one who is the source and the basis of our Faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of Christ. Its His Word that is the foundation of our Faith. As we rely and believe in His Word, Faith is activated in our Spirit. Faith is released by the Words we speak. The day we accepted Christ into our Heart, Faith was deposited in our heart and He will see to it that this Faith which is initiated in our heart also sees its completion and fulfillment. He is our high Priest now who intercedes for us and completes our Faith. In Him we Trust. Here is another teaching on Jesus the Developer of our Faith by Kenneth Copleand. Watch and Be Blessed!

Today, Kenneth Copeland explains how faith is always working. Join and learn how faith talks to your born-again spirit all the time, and intercedes for you in every situation

Do not be driven by your Passion for God, but be led by Him

Robert Rajamani

It is very much possible to be driven by a passion. For a believer it will mostly be a passion which is godly. Some may have a passion to do the work of the Lord, become a missionary etc. It is very easy and convenient to be driven by the passion and convince oneself what we are doing is the will of the Lord, because passion for something gives purpose to life and can be a great motivation.

Christian life is not to be lived by clinging on to certain apparently godly things which gives a purpose to life and run with it. Christian life is meant to be led by the Spirit of God (Romans 8:14), in continuous relationship with Him and continuously hearing from Him.

It is very much possible to be driven by a Passion for the things of God and miss God. Paul was passionate for God, but he missed God when he persecuted the church. He was not in personal relationship with God, but with his religion of God. But once he got into a relationship with God, he was led by the Spirit of God.

God wants us to have a Father-child relationship in which we are in constant communication with Him in every step of our way. He is not looking for someone who hears from God and gets passionate about it and runs with it leaving God behind. Rather learn to be with Him, talk to Him all the time. Make it a lifestyle to just hang out with Him and let Him reveal you things and speak to you and guide you every step of the way. (Psalm 32:8)

Let the Holy Spirit be your guide. Talk to Him and develop an intimate relationship with Him. One Word that you hear from Him personally can change your life upside down, as Jesus said, “ Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God”. (Matthew 4:4)
